The Sun says Spanish sources claim Alves, 23, would prefer London to Liverpool. Anfield chief Rafa Benitez has had Alves at the top of his wanted list for more than a year. Benitez was scared off by Seville's £12m asking price last summer but is now confident of prising him away from the La Liga title chasers. New American owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks promised the Spaniard a £40m summer transfer budget. Heilt riktig Daniel Alves er en fantastisk høgreback.. men det blir vanskelig å skaffe han når liverpool og chelsea er interreserte og.. Vist dette er sant så hadde jeg ikke nølt om jeg var Wenger...Men er Liverpool og Chelsea interesert også så blitr det kanskje et lite problem for oss å få tak i Daniel Alves? Alves has been a Liverpool target for the last 12 months but Wenger has now started to take notice of his performances. The Brazilian wing back can play in a variety of positions on the right and he might also interest Chelsea who are searching for a right back. The 23-year-old is said to prefer a move to London which would put Liverpool at the back of the queue for his signature.
