Guest Alex89
The Gunners have sent scouts to watch the 18-year-old defender twice in recent weeks and will have received positive reports of his performances. The right-sided full back has established himself in Sevilla's first team this term, and scored in the recent Uefa Cup triumph over Nacional Madeira. His progression has earned him a new deal that ties him to the club until June 2008, and sees his release clause rise from €12 million (£8 million) to €18 million. Sevilla director of sport Ramon 'Monchi' Rodriguez Verdejo expressed his delight at securing the teenager on a new, improved contract. "I'm happy because he is a home-grown player with an enormous future, and we have been working on the new contract for some time," he stated. Ramos is a product of Sevilla's youth system and is already a Spain Under-21 international. Jesus Navas er den andre spilleren her er litt fakta om ham: Jesus Navas Club Sevilla Squad No 31 DOB 21 Nov 1985 Born Sevilla Arsenal are to return to Spain to monitor the form of Sevilla starlet Jesus Navas following the resounding success of Jose Antonio Reyes. The Spain international has proved a shrewd piece of business for Arsene Wenger since his move from Sevilla and the North London outfit believe Jesus Navas has similar potential. The player has enjoyed a productive pre-season in Spain and Arsenal will watch his progress in La Liga in the forthcoming campaign. Although the player's agent insists that no contact has been made with the Premiership champions, speculation in Spain continues to heavily link Arsenal with a move. Jesus Navas, 18-years-old, recently made a substitute appearance for Spain's Under-21 side and scored an impressive goal.
Sindre
Ramos er kvalitet. Men lite sannsynlig at Wenger henter inn ein ny høgreback, etter kjøpet av Eboue i januar. Dessuten blir Ramos svært dyr.
Jesper
