Lady Nina Bracewell-Smith, who is the second largest shareholder at Arsenal Football Club with 16.8% of the share ownership, is continuing the Bracewell-Smith family's long association with the Club. Lady Nina's husband Sir Charles Bracewell-Smith, is the son of the former Arsenal Director Sir Guy Bracewell-Smith, who was on the Board of Directors from May 1953 to September 1976. Sir Guy Bracewell-Smith was in turn the son of the former Arsenal Chairman Sir Bracewell Smith, who sat as Chairman from 1948 to 1962. This appointment increases the members on Arsenal's current Board of Directors to eight, with Lady Nina joining Peter Hill-Wood (Chairman), David Dein (Vice Chairman), Keith Edelman (Managing Director), Sir Roger Gibbs, Richard Carr, Danny Fiszman and Ken Friar OBE as the Club's Directors.
