While Wenger struggles with his central defensive dilemma, Jose Reyes has given the first hint that he may be ready to stay at Arsenal.

The Spanish striker has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer after numerous reports suggesting that he was homesick in London.

But Reyes, who scored Arsenal's second in their 3-1 victory over Liverpool at Highbury on Sunday afternoon, is beginning to love life in the capital.

'I am feeling a lot more relaxed now in London'

Reyes said: "As time goes past you feel more and more comfortable. I admit I didn't settle here in England straight away but I am feeling a lot more relaxed now in London."

Reyes admits he went through a dip in form over the winter but, after two goals in three games, he believes he is back to his best.

He added: "I'm happy with my form at the moment. I did go through a low patch during the middle of the season but right now it looks like I'm back to being the Reyes from the start of the season.

"It is very difficult to say what the reason was for the drop in form. What is clear is that every player goes through bad form from time to time.

"You can't say what it is down to. You can't blame anything or anyone else, the only person I can blame is myself but I'm not thinking about that any more because I feel my form is back up there."
